DEPOSIT AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:

ACCEPTED MasterCard (not prepaid), Visa (not prepaid). Debit card not accepted unless otherwise stated below. 2 different cards are required by the car rental agent. Credit cards must be in the name of the main driver. A deposit amount from a minimum of EUR 350 to a maximum of EUR 500 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage section. NOT ACCEPTED: No other payment types will be accepted. A valid credit card in the first name and surname (no abbreviations) of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorise/charge a deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Driver's age

26 to 70 years.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Please note, all renters must obtain prior authorisation from the rental agent directly before any cross border travel commences.

You may drive a Vehicle in the following countries or territories (“the Territory”): Peninsular Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, Gibraltar territory ,as well as in the European continental part of the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and in the British Isles. Also, in Italy, San Marino, Vatican City and the British Islands you may only use vehicles with the following Acriss Codes: EBMR, EDMR, CCMR, CDMR, IDMR, SDMR, according to their equivalence in the General Rates in force.

The use of Off-road Vehicles is only permitted in Spain and Portugal.

The use of commercial vehicles and cargo vans is only permitted in Spain.

Please be aware that You must comply with traffic regulations in the country where You drive the Vehicle.

Please note that is not possible to travel to Formentera from Spain or take the vehicles to Formentera independently regardless whether it is a one way or not reservation.

In case you the customer attempts it, the fine from 1000 to 10000 € will be applied

In addition, in Italy, San Marino, Vatican and Great Britain only the use of Vehicles of categories A, B, C, D, I, E, F and H is allowed, according to their equivalence in the Current General Rate.

The use of Industrial Vehicles, Cargo Vans and Off-road Vehicles is only permitted in Spain and Portugal.

The transportation of the Vehicle on board any type of boat, ship, train, lorry or aeroplane is not permitted.
